Col1948 Posted August 22, 2016 Share Posted August 22, 2016 I used to be a paying member but being on a low pension I find it hard to manage, but having said that I don't watch that much, i mainly look in when having a meal, I watch while I'm eating then i turn off so again paying for those short periods would be waste for me anyway. I will admit it is nice when something nice happens on the free cams, plus now I have got choosy, I only watch 5-6 different apartments because some i have no interest in and I skip past them. Some members have posted the odd video or photo of people in the premium sections, if it wasn't for seeing them I would have no clue who lived in them and/or what they look like. So saying that even if it was just one free cam in there it might entice someone to pay, it doesn't have to be in the bedroom or bathroom but may be in the living room then at lease they can see who lives there. Money grab, allow leniency, play hardball, more money grab and then more of the same (oh yeah, the hell with customer service). Remember - RLC says RLC is not a porn site but 24/7 real life cams for voyeurs to watch real people living real life. Come on - who are they kidding?!!! Hiding from cams, scripts to follow, fake playground of pretend lesbians, spread eagle masturbation intentionally in front of the cams, wild couple sex shows mainly for the viewer cams (intentional), lots of cock teasing or play just to hook the viewers (no intention to follow through with sex) and tenants brought in mainly to show nudity or perform sex for the viewers. RLC's interpretation of REAL LIFE is much different than my definition or expectations of REAL LIFE. To me, RLC is not doing as advertised but I am a horny perverted voyeur who loves women and sex and will watch the free cams because of curiosity. If and when RLC cleans up their act - and admits some apartments are real life while some are pretend/fake/scripted at times plus remove some deadbeat tenants and provide a few apartments near my TIME ZONE - then I would subscribe. If I pay for a product - I expect to get my money's worth. Free cams has allowed me to view and evaluate the product but, for me, only a few apartments are good and time zone is a major negative factor. With respect to no free cam apartments (premium only) - what I don't see doesn't hurt me. It is RLC's prerogative but to me no preview then no chance of subscribing. RLC is so inconsistent in their thinking and actions. In other words - about RLC - WTF!!! RLC needs to get real themselves and have a better game plan. RLC can greatly improve its' business model but still waiting (some good additions but the brutal apartments bring RLC down). My thoughts, my money (but not yet) and my positive constructive tone for future improvements required first. If RLC did away with free cams - then I move on - simple enough. RLC needs a consistent workable reasonable balance that can please more people. Yes I know RLC can't satisfy everyone but please do better than this current setup. Some will say that a free cammer has no right to complain. Well, I say that a paid subscriber has no right to complain either since RLC is giving you this imperfect product, as is, for your money. Whether the 4 woman event was scripted or not does not matter to me; it was fucking awesome. At the same time, a lack of a cam/cams on the B2 deck eliminated the ability to watch Lola do heaven knows what to Carolina with that dildo, see what Belle and Stella were doing out there for about 25 minutes, or see everything else that goes on when they are out there. Also, this whole thing about holding up a sheet to cover what was taking place is really annoying; whether here or in the other apartments when the couples do it. Maybe Carolina was feeling a little embarrassed and wanted to hide some if this, which in the end we saw portions of it all; too f***ing bad. These men and women know precisely what they are getting into when they move into one of these units, and if it turns out to not be what they were expecting and they cannot live with that they can leave; just as Amy, Rebecca and Megan did; and I will NEVER hold that against them, they at least have the guts to admit it to themselves it is not for them and go back to their real life. After this fiasco I wrote to RLC, for the 5th time, about the cams and several other things, including poor camera placements in many of the apartments, but B2 in particular. I do not want to see 1/2 of a person when watching a cam, so change the view to a more wide-angle lens and there should be no hidden corners where we cannot see, such as in Stella's room. I contend their lack of cameras on the decks makes their claims in their FAQ that we see these people living their lives 24x7, which we do not; is clearly false advertising. I know there is no promise of ANY sex from RLC; which is fine, pay your money and take your chances. But we do deserve to be able to see and hear it when it does take place. And, lets be honest, if there was never any sex then none of us would pay the money to be here. RLC's policy also clearly states that we MAY see some explicit sexual activity and if we are not willing to accept that then we should not subscribe. I know several others have posted on chat recently they get the same response: thank you for your feedback, we feel the cams are fine where they are; we have enough cams, blah, blah, blah. Same old bullshit. It has become blatantly obvious that RLC does not care what we as subscribers think; does not value our opinions and only wants our money. My 90 subscription runs out in a few weeks and I am going to protest in the only way I know how; cancel it! I actually think I get a reasonable return on my subscription price but at some point principle has to win out because their product could be so much better with a minimal amount of changes on their part. I know others have done this and maybe if enough of us do it, the financial impact may force them over time to hear us. There may be some other sites out there for a person who likes real life voyeurism but I think they are few; and some are also owned by RLC, which sort of defeats the purpose of leaving. Hopefully I can find one of those.
