October 10, 201510 yr Does anyone notice..whenever there's action in the bedroom..the light will be OFF..then turns to black&white movie. So frustrated.. could RLC explain this?
October 10, 201510 yr It is the infrared sensors on the cameras. Normal function when there is a limited light source
October 12, 201510 yr Author natural lighting with color reception> more better than infrared..5pm is still sufficient light.. Anyway ..cant complain...
October 21, 201510 yr Author Thru my technical analysis I noticed the light turns to infrared by purpose..Many occasions where L&P and B&S the light turns infrared.. RLC shoudnt do that.. we paid for premium membership..rlc pls respond..
December 3, 201510 yr Yeah and for some like C&M whenever they go at it in their bedroom the cam always switches back and forth between infrared and normal and it's really annoying.
December 9, 201510 yr Worst part is the clicking sound when the camera keeps switching. Drives me insane aha
December 10, 201510 yr Yeah, the resolution when iTS black And white is garbage, also sometimes the camera is switchting between black And white And color, iTS frustating
December 10, 201510 yr Yeah, the resolution when iTS black And white is garbage, also sometimes the camera is switchting between black And white And color, iTS frustating When the cameras switch from B&W to color it means the infrared is working when the room light is diminished.
December 10, 201510 yr I have noticed that sometimes the tennants turn off the lights when they go in the bedroom so I think that is when the cameras switch from color to black and white. This happens more during daylight hours.
January 1, 201610 yr Surely this is just human nature. Its not a porn set under spot lights. So while the residents are aware they are on cam and on show, they still might feel more comfortable turning the lights off or at least leaving them on the low side. the IR cams then kick in to keep the action showing.
January 7, 201610 yr If the cameras did't switch to Infra red they would not work as the light levels would be too low. I agree when they switch back and forth it is annoying but blame the technology not the site. Or RLS ban all light switches and force them to live under bright conditions 24/7 . Gets my vote!
