Can anyone give an explanation of the frequent "guests" that appear at various apartments?  Even without speaking the language it's pretty obvious that the guests often have nothing in common with their hosts and generally don't seem to be expected or wanted.  I've seen nothing to compare to this situation in "real life" as RLC likes to say they depict.

A good example is Dasha and Demid apartment.  There is a guitar playing minstrel who is often there and several other couples who have appeared at random in the last week or two.

And Masha and Sasha are often visited by couples who seem to have nothing in common and to be unexpected.  There was even a visit by Dasha and Demid a while back when D&D had guests at their place.

Is there any rationale to this or is it just RLC putting people up short term?

RLC--In their efferts to make money have turned their apartments to hostels, a place for passing visitors to stay.  In theory could be interesting, but not so far.--Lol
