I have been on RLC now for about 3 years and I have never seen anyone in any apartment use a land line is there no phone line there

Why should they use them?? They have their cell phones and as you could see most of them are not staying for a long time .. 

Nelly and DOGMAN have a land line; look at cam 1 over the countertop. I actually saw him use it to allow someone else access into  the apartment. Perhaps a gated community.

@toolmaker that aint no landline ,thats an intercom phone the same as in cam3 of susan and hectors place alot of appartments use intercom systems .

There bad enough with phones without given them land lines aswel

there's more and more people out there in the "real" world not using landlines... don't see why these people should be any different.  Besides... you can't play candy crush on a land line

I only joined about a week ago and have slowley been getting used to everybody on RLC, as for the phones I saw Coco the other day while still in bed on her phone, as the day progeressed everytime I saw her she was texting and this went on all day.  I wasn't watching her all day by the way but being new to RLC I did spend most of the day surfing the cams.

I've seen plenty others that the phone is a perminant fixture to their hand, and if it isn't the phone its the laptop lol.
