The shoutbox? What is it actually for?  The posts that I have seen fall into these categories:

1. Real time updates on what is happening in RLC

2, Individuals chatting about their own interests (eg own web sites).

3. Criticism or putdowns about other posts.

4. Banter about the tenants and speculation on their jobs/location/relationships.

5. General small talk about their own lives etc.

Is there any rule about content or is it just what ever you feel like saying?

In Australia, the skin cancer capital of the world, a lot of women cover their nipples due to the sensitivity of them to UV light.  Maybe it's just a safety precaution.

Do we know definitely that they all from the same town, agency, workplace??  Do we have any idea how they know each other?

I think my comment is still valid in that the girls would not (probably) have an intimate relationship prior to joining this project.

I am still not sure about the "scripted" aspect of this apartment.

These girls (I assume) are new to each other, unlike all the other apartments.

It must be easier to settle in when you have lived with someone for a long time eg Nina and Kira or Zoya nd Lev.

I am surprised how close the girls get in such a short time.

IMHO it was good to have two ladies with a bit more meat on their bones. It was a pity that they broke up, but from what I saw it was fairly civilized.  When Katka left, they hugged and kissed - not acrimonious at all.

Another pair of mature ladies would be fine with me.

I assume that the administrators/moderators troll through the site regularly and remove any information of that sort.

In addition, we as members, should police ourselves and bring these sorts of posts to their attention.

Having said that, I see no harm in the speculations or musings about the tenants.  Some of those posts are fun and interesting.

My Introduction was a bit convoluted.  I used to subscribe to a site called SALPAR.net.  This have video downloads of various kinds.

As well it had a link to PEEPHOLECAM.com which was a 30 second refresh view into four apartments (one room in each).  The tenants were (supposedly) unaware of the cameras, and even though the stop/start nature of the views was annoying, it was quite interesting.

I did not want to subscribe (too expensive I thought), so I GOOGLED hidden cams.  The first site that came up was RLC.  After about two months, I joined, then upgraded to premium about 12 months ago.

Money well spent mainly.  I started when Max and Lora were on the site, and I have seen a lot of tenants come and go.

There has been a lot of discussion about time zones.

At least Zoya and Lev have a big clock in their kitchen which matches the time stamp on the site.

The girls' apartment shows that their daytime is about 11am to 3am (ie when they are awake). Does this mean the time stamp is wrong, or are the girls working in their home time zone??

I can't help thinking that any new tenants should be in the non-premium section, then if they prove their worth, move them to premium.

This would be a good marketing tool, as well as making us happy that the extra cost of premium is worthwhile.

It's the same old problem.  The tenants are supposed to go about there normal business, but most are so conscious of the cameras that they go out of their way to avoid them by hiding.

If I post on ReallifecamFan with my current username, as long as I don't mention my RLC login name, remove the ID from the posts and delete the watermarks from the videos, then it should be safe to post.

Does the ReallifecamFan site suffer any consequences for members posting pictures and videos?

I have occasionally received an email from RLC telling me that someone has left the project.

Sometimes it also indicates what is likely to happen in the future.  Good stuff.

This is the first I have seen it called a newsletter.  I would have expected a newsletter to be a regular information source on what is happening in RLC.

Given that we pay for the service, it would be good to know:

a. something about the tenants' backgrounds.

b. how long we should be able to expect them to stay

c. some indication of rooms closing prior to them just disappearing off the list.

Just a thought.

I have a problem with .png files.  The white window appears and the timer star rotates - but then nothing.  I waited up 10 minutes to see if it was a sizable file, but still nothing.

Any advice would be welcome.

Disappointing that apartments just disappear from the site with no warning or explanation.  I thought Katka and Lenka were a very interesting couple to watch for the dynamics of their relationship.

Anyone know why they left??

One of the issues which has been mentioned, is that you can't physically watch RLC 24 hours a day.  I see a number of posts asking for photos/videos of previous happenings.

Another voyeur site (not really up to RLC standards) has a replay cam.  This records the highlights of the past 24 hours, and allows members (and guests) to see what they missed.  If the premium sites were included in the replay, it would give other members a taste, and possibly attract more members to the live action.

I assume that RLC records the rooms for its own purposes, so it shouldn't be a big issue to set something like this up.

It is always interesting that neither lady is too shy to have a bath, but they hide in the hall or toilet to get changed.  Odd?
