Yes, we're all doing our best, given who and where we are. I don't disparage Efim (except for his tone-deafness) and in fact I envy him. Most of the Efim hate here is probably just sublimated enviousness. In a way, I'm grateful to him for sharing this marvelous creature with the world. Certainly if I had a girlfriend as beautiful and talented as Anabel I'd "put her in a pumpkin shell." Agree. And I think they do read these blogs and maybe even occasionally the chat. Just this morning, I swear, she read JohnBoy's comment, "Anabel needs a shave." She showed it to Efim and they both had a good laugh over it.

More music notes: The piece Anabel is currently practicing is Johann Sebastian Bach's Bourrée from Partita No 3 for Violin in E major, BWV 1006. She's also been working on Mozart's Allegro from Violin Concerto in G major, K. 216. I enjoy just watching her play more than anything else on the site.

Since she's practicing the main melodies, she may be First Violin! Did I read that she's in St. Petersburg? I wonder if there are any local concerts featuring this piece...
