What has happened to Desiree's little dog, all of a sudden there is cat in it's place?

I noticed that too. The cat was around for just less than a week and now I see the dog back. I tried to maybe hear some of their conversation about it, but couldn't pick it up.

I wonder if it was a trial swap with one of their friends but the dog would have fretted so they decided to swap back, just a thought.
