Goods odds some of them don't have jobs. Youth unemployment in Spain for example is not far short of 50%. Particularly in the winter with tourism dead. Sensible business model for RLC: offer free or low cost apartments to unemployed couples. They don't have a lot of money, so will spend a lot of time indoors and on camera.

 

Downside is that have nude videos of yourself all over the interweb is not good on the CV...

The choice of volunteers may be limited - not everyone wants their live broadcast 24/7. Getting a free apartment with (I suspect) most of the bills paid is a good incentive for some couples to move in. But I doubt it does your employment prospects much good.

 

As to the activity in apartments, they've tried to space them across time zones - there's currently a 6 hour spread in local time. Put an apartment or two in the US/Canada and you've got a 12 hour spread.

xyz12345,  I think your onto something there.  A 12 hour spread would most definitely help the viewing inasmuch as English, ( unless Quebec ) more than likely would be spoken and that in itself would draw a western crowd.  And god knows, there's a bunch of us perv's over here.
