Yes reading the forum posts and catching up on all the gossip was part of it, but originally I enjoyed the repartee and banter in the box. But lately I have been avoiding it like the plague. All it seems to be is negative, who can talk the most shit about tenants. Never a nice word about them, it seems everyone commenting can do a better job as a RLC tenant. And let's not forget all the tough keyboard warriors there who jump down anyone's throat if they dare have anything nice to say about a tenant. Hell according to these experts, every tenant in the Project is either ugly, useless, boring, brain dead or is in some mysterious conspiracy. Here's a hint, if you can't find ONE thing about RLC you like, maybe you should be here, there are plenty of other sites around but all this bullshit is turning people off both RLC and RLCF, make no mistake about it. This tenant is cheating on his/her partner besides so many funny questions such as why Leora is always naked in the apartment. . The problem is that we're not allowed to interfere or give negative replies against anybody .. I only tend to chat now if I see the "old guard" etc. chatting about something other than the girls apartment. In addition to the negativity, the constant and I mean the constant talk of the 3 girls is driving me insane... will they be in the same bed, will they massage, will they touch, will they bathe together, will they kiss, will they fuck, are they escorts, do they have boyfriends, are they models, where has she gone out, when will she come back and so it goes on. When I started on RLC, I too fell for the charms of the girls apartment, but then I saw it for what it was, a money maker for RLC. Sorry to burst your bubble, but It's just 3 straight girls, thrust into a shared apartment having traveled to the west on 30, 60 or 90 day visas, to try and break through in the modelling world, or perhaps even to meet rich western men. As for the pseudo touching, massaging, kissing and then doing nothing... how do I put this, most of the girls were identified as having boyfriends back home, at the end of the day and sorry to burst a few bubbles here, the girls are STRAIGHT... anything they do is to preserve a roof over their heads, nothing more. Think about it Chloe and Joshua failed to attract the viewers, they were gone in month. Its web views that count to RLC, the tenants are probably (intially anyway) on contracts with 7-14 days notice. If that is the case and the girls are on 90 day visas, who wants to be homeless, in a foreign country after only being in a country for 30 days, living on the streets until they can return home... of course they are going to play up to the cameras, purely to preserve a roof over their heads. In fact I tell you what, why don't you and 2 other blokes, travel to a country on the other side of the word to you on a 90 day visa, with little or no money, no friends, no family, no support network, into an apartment, where you can live for free, free food etc. on a 7 day tenancy on the strict proviso you maintain interest in your apartment, preserve that interest you can stay but if figures drop, you are out. How far would you go to preserve a roof over your heads... prancing round an apartment in your pants with the other blokes, the occasional wank on your own under the covers, or in the bath, a panted/ naked bath with one of the other blokes, a bit of body painting, a massage with one of the other blokes.. because thats what you get at the moment, from the girls apartment, nothing more. I recall that a few months ago, when she who shall not be named, whose name began with an "I", who name rhymed with "boner", BTR banned any mention of her name (it may even have been her apartment, I cannot recall), but that seems to have slipped by the wayside. Don't get me wrong, I love RLC, but the constant mention of the girls apartment is driving me insane. Maybe I arrive at the wrong times I am always talking to myself lately on the chatbox that gets a bit boring. But now you said about it I will keep an eye on it. The chat gets very miserable at peak hours, which is why I tend to show my face when things have died down. I agree that the environment cannot be roses all the time, but allowing the negativity (theories, conspiracies or otherwise) to be common just diminishes the quality of the site and makes it uncomfortable for other members. But other times it's like a pub conversation; I can't keep up with it, I don't know whether someone is answering two points ago or five points ago, I get lost and confused, as I suspect do others - or are they just drunk? If I say something I think funny no one notices. So I prefer to contribute to the forum, but be a silent presence on Shoutbox. I'm sorry people get fed up with always discussing the girls' apartment, but the reason it is popular is it offers a different experience. Sure, girl on girl hasn't happened yet, but that doesn't put fans off because blokes are obstinate cusses. The more I'm told It will never happen the more I think - I'll wait. And why do I think it worth waiting? Girls are different. Blokes are hairy smelly boorish. Girls are pretty, soft, nice company and smell clean. No warty breath, borderline psychotic aggressives. Girls know this. They are more willing to experiment with each other, to take risks, and to have a good time, even if that means sometimes appearing foolish, or out of their normal lifestyle. Where blokes wouldn't dream of dancing in their knickers, girls give it a try. They are willing to take a risk and experiment with other girls for fun or for money. I agree that keeping track when there are several conversations can be difficult. Even if I have been away for just a few minutes and I try to reply to a comment while I am composing the reply the poster can put up replies to another conversations then I get responses that my post doesn't make sense. This is one reason why I too post more here on the forums rather the participate in the Chat Room. As to negativity generally all must remember we have different likes and dislikes so a comment that will be regarded as some to be fair and reasonable may well be considered as others to be unfair and negative. It isn't the off topic conversations that annoyed me (and still do), it is the playground bully boy tactics. It seems that a few decide to take a dislike to one of the tenants then proceeds to constantly bitch, moan, gripe, complain etc., about them. Because these posters are regulars, it seems others feel they have to agree with the comments, and if anyone dares disagree, they are ridiculed, threatened, ignored, or just abused for having an opinion. Just look at some of the comments about Paul, Lev, Ilona, and now Adele - you would think by reading the shout box that these people have committed mass genocide or killed kittens for a living. I know, especially in regard to Paul and Lev that it is just petty jealousy coming out but with Ilona and Adele it has really got beyond a joke at time what these two have been accused of. Hell even look at Suzan, Hector and Pablo, according to some 'in the know' they have all been screwing each other, yet there isn't a photo or a video to back this up. Yet, as I just saw in the Chat Box right now, when someone asks for proof the accuser gets very defensive and starts throwing accusations at the one asking the question! I always thought the Chat Box was somewhere where a member of this site can came, have some banter, ask a question or two, catch up on what has been happening on the project and have some laughs - guess I thought wrong. But until Admin/Mods question why so many great members have chosen to avoid it like the plague, it will never be the place it once was. And until it does return to the fun place it once was, I'm out ! PS.
