This is exactly what i want to see on RLC while on RLCF we might encounter a totally different type of arse. In this pic, she really wants me - i can tell - i am not blind and useless like some of the worthless male RLC tenants in the apartments.

Shining a rational light on translation, I thought, will enable a more balanced view than some of the violent opinions I've seen expressed.   It seemed wrong to me to attack people just because they think something different.    Especially when there is plenty of evidence that translations provide helpful information. 

 

But I have come to realise that Forums are quite rough and violent places.    I'm the newbie who has stumbled into a hornets nest.   The answer isn't to pacify the hornets - it is to leave the nest be.

 

So the thread began with worthy objectives but ends fittingly with a pic of an arse.

In my humble opinion, every one is taking this translation thing way to seriously.  It does not bother me that some are taking their time to try to give us information that they feel is helpful.  Those who do, I feel are doing so in good faith.  It is up to us if we want to believe them or not.  If it turns out correct, cool.  If not its no big deal.  Even if true a lot of the stuff is rather trivial.  There is still a lot of things we can imagine for our selves.  Even with out the translators, rumors will continue to fly and misconceptions will always be here.  We do not watch RLC with 2 eyes we watch it with hundreds of eyes, all of us.  Besides tha'ts part of the fun that is RLFC.

I know I have probably been one of the more outspoken against the translations (and wild arse guesses).  Yes I know most of it is made up for a bit of fun, poor Danaya has been on her last day for at least a week now - eventually she will leave and someone will beat their chest and tell all how he knew and we didn't believe him.

 

But I see the wider problem.  All of us that have been here a while and are regulars to this site know to take most of what is written as a light hearted humour.  But those new members or those that English is the second or third language might not pick up on the humour and sarcasm and think, because it is posted to a forum or said in the Chat Room that it is all true.  Think about it, you log onto RLCF for the first time and all you see in the Chat box is members saying all the girls in the Barcelona apartment are high class escorts, or the Barcelona apartment is going to close, or that a certain tenant is going to leave within days.  Would you both to continue in here, would you both paying for a subscription to RLC because what you just read sounds like both places are train wrecks about to happen.

 

As for the translations themselves, it would be good if there was some collaboration or alternate sources to verify what is being said.  There has to be more than one guy who can understand Russian on CC but all we hear is Kitek from CC said this.  Or worse, someone just pops in and says "Danaya is leaving on the 20th" - no indication where the information came from, no explanation - just a bland, confusing and often wrong statement that we are all suppose to believe.

One of the reasons I ask members where they are from, is to establish if English is their main language. We have some very good members whose Eng. is not their 1st  lauguage and communicate very well. However some of the others don't have a good command of English and in that case I try to phrase things so they are not too open for a confusing meaning. We have many words in Eng. spelt the same but have an entirely different meaning, just as words are pronounced the same and are spelt quite differently. 

 I do feel for the Guys who want join us, but must get so damned confused with the Eng. language as difficult as it is. 

So what is your solution,to ban anyone that relays a translation from a translator?When I relay info from a translator I do not present it as fact.I always preface any info by stating "translator at wherever said".So you can choose to believe or not believe the translation,but don't bully people into not presenting the translation just because it offends you.Some people on this site are trying to play and censor info simply because they feel they are so much more intelligent than everyone else.

Some need to shut the fuck up and stop comming out will bullshit 

So if you don't believe Kitek's translations ignore them,but maybe other people would like to hear them.I don't particularly enjoy hearing people talk about the Barcelona apartment on a continuous basis,but I have never requested BTR to silence those people just because I have no interest in their conversation.To do so would be a cowardly act on my part.And I don't enjoy being called a troll and a stalker and being accused of having fake social media profiles.The only social media profile I have is on Face Book and there is nothing fake about that profile.
