If we are trying to be smart, it's actually regarded as both based on usage.

True. Also the letter 'w' can be considered a vowel in certain cases. It has to do with dipthongs and pronunciations and stuff I care not about. Generally they are not vowels. So he does not need to go back to school and he is definitely not a retard, which is a very nasty reference; please do not use it again. Anyone who has a family member with learning issues will most certainly take offense (or offence).

The both based on usage,for sure smart guys but
In the case of "w" as also called a SEMI CONSONANT(not a semi vowel...SG) almost none word with the "w" in it considering the "w" as a vowel(dipthongs and pronunciations and stuff I care not about), which assimilate,in fact the "w" as a consonant in the general way
In the case of "y" as also called a SEMI VOWEL(not a semi consonant SG) almost all the words with the "y" in it considering the "y" as a vowel(dipthongs and pronunciations and stuff I care not about),which assimilate, in fact the "y" as a vowel in the general way
W=consonant Y=vowel case closed

...or not,any who want to come join in the topic in the topic are welcome

And btw Capy do not worry about me("What doesn't kill us makes us stronger"),i m a big boy,the critics, unwarranted ones or even offending,improving me,even yours,way more subtle than the first two, I must admit it
