October 13, 201510 yr Author @ anhil8tor The popular assumption has been that the tenants live in the furnished apartments rent free on a month by month basis. And, contracts have been spotted in a few of the tenants' apartments. Whether or not the tenants receive anything else from RLC for their participation is unknown.
October 27, 201510 yr While browsing 4chan/b, I saw a link posted to it. That was back in the Lina and Mark days. I later noticed (Alexa rankings) that membership to RLC, CC & RLCF spiked after that. Occasionally someone posts a RLC picture on 4chan, and I'm pretty certain that RLC doesn't mind a bit to have such massive free advertising.
