I now have Windows 11 installed on my computer.   So far, so good.  A big difference compared to all the other Operating Systems Microsoft has had.

It usually goes through a Beta Test first where certain users can test drive it and report any bugs or needs for improvement.  I would say likely October or November 2020.

It is not yet in any Insider Preview. Your prediction might be accurate but add at least three years. See

. At least there is official acknowledgement that there will be a Windows 12. That appears to be the only official information available.

Likely be by May or June.   Microsoft likes staying 2 operating systems ahead. Windows 10 support will be coming to and end in the next month or two.

I wouldn't count on Windows 12 being free operating system.  I read that Microsoft is going to be charging for that one.
