Signing in as Anonymous Issue - (Solved)

Featured Replies

The Issue of Signing in as Anonymous or changing your Status from Anonymous to Online has been solved.

With the previous Version of Software 4.4.10 there was an Option as to Sign-In Online or as Anonymous by Removing or Adding a Checkmark in the box. Since the Software had changed to Version 4.5 the Anonymous Setting was removed from the Log-In Box.

This Setting is now in each Members Account Settings.  To get there click the username in the Top Right Corner. Select Account Settings. On the Left Side of the page you will see a Menu List.  Click Security and Privacy, Enter your Password then Scroll down the page to Privacy by clicking the Button you can be be Visible or Hidden. Each click of the Button Saves the Setting Automatically.

Its a little longer process to go through but this change was written in the Forum Software by the Software Developer so this will have to be a change we'll have to live with.  If your Status is Set to Visible each time you will be signed in as Online. The Members that were as Anonymous will always be Signed-In Anonymously until they change their Settings as stated above.

any chance the developers can allow us to access archived chat like we could before?  it's one of the mainreasons I subscribed to this site.

The Chat is a plug-in and not part of the Forum Software.  It was designed by Coding Jungle.  I'll check with Admin and see if that feature is part of the Chat Box or not.
