  1. Last week it was reported that there was a major fall out, 'a screaming match' between Big Red and Little Blue.
I have no idea as to what it was about,it would be great if someone did really know,we could all speculate.
But since then I am not sure if they even speak to each other anymore.
From what I have observed there seems to be a real tension between each other.
I think C & S are trying to stay impartial in what ever has happened, but I feel Carina leans more towards Blue's side than Red.
C & S will interact with Red or Blue in a group situation, but never with Red & Blue. But there is still no interaction between Red & Blue.
In fact they now tend to sit as far away from each other as is possible, or Blue will remove herself from the living room,or will disappear into her laptop.
Red occasionally sneaks a sideways glance towards Blue, but quickly looks away before any eye contact is made between them.
Last night C & S and Blue had been out somewhere. Red had bedded down on the sofa as usual.
When they all came home Carina was stomping around in clunky shoes, throwing a bell-ball for the kitten to chase, there was no consideration to Red at all.
I just wonder how long this situation can continue?

  2. I am glad that things seem to have calmed down now and hope there is no 'next time'.

I will never understand why women ( & men) stay with an abusive partner.

Just because he's had a bad day, or is frustrated,or is drunk or his favourite football team lost, is no excuse for assault.

And it drives me nuts when these often terrified women are asked, 'why do you stay with him?' the reply is, 'because I love him....'

Really ? Think about that the next time he slaps you around.

  3. To pick up on what BTR was saying.

RLC have a problem if they involve themselves. It is no longer an 'everyday' situation.

There is no fly on the wall to stop the daily occurences of any sort of violence in 'real life',other than the police.

They are damned if they do & damned if they don't.

However they probably do have a duty of care to the residents, unless the residents have waived those rights.

But surely if they monitor the cams & if they see something like the incident today, they could contact the apartment or individual(s) involved  via telephone, email or whatever, to ask if everything is ok?

  4. I didn't see the incident, but the pics don't look good. He seems to have her around the throat when he shoves her into the fridge. However it is easy to misinterpret his actions, but at one point she does look terrified.

I don't know what reason he could possibly have for that sort of behaviour?
