To me, it's simple. The chat room and the forum are 2 separate entities. The chat room is just the same half dozen people talking about the same 3 or 4 apartments, so anyone who isn't interested in the barcas or masha doesn't comment or look. It's more like a closed group-chat thing. The reason more don't join in, is the same as to why the forum has gone quiet - rlc resembles a shopping center that has more and more empty units each week! There are now only a small number of apartments to talk about, and the ones that are left are the ones many don't bother looking at anyway. So if you only have a small choice, and none of them are of interest, there's the answer. At least from my view. The way the forum could come back is if rlc itself comes back to the glory days - But have they gone forever?

Hmm, not so sure. First part, definite yes, but the second.....I've said before that if the only thing on offer is Masha and the Barcas putting on fake shows, many are more than happy to take it (and it seems that's the case right now). So you can see why rlc are seemingly very slow to adjust anything, they have a captive audience already.

Chipping in, i'm sure that any extra cash incentive was the catalyst for the emergence of 'shows'. Makes perfect sense of course, but it only leads (and indeed did lead) to people putting on regular shows - Too many for some. This led to the lack of any reality, thus resulting in many calls of fakery. I left because i wasn't prepared to hand over more money to watch pre-arranged shows. That is not voyeurism. However, i cannot blame them for doing it - Because, of course, you give someone an offer for bonuses in exchange for having fun, not surprisingly they accept! And if the site was returned to the old, what you say 'True' voyeur, then i guess that many would leave because of boredom. So it depends of who runs which site. I'm sure someone would be happy to run a site that is old style, but a lot won't. At the moment, i'm pretty sure that an old style site wouldn't shift many viewers from rlc to there, but it still could attract its own audience. But like any business, they don't want to wait and see, the modern (if you will) style of voyeur hits the ground running, guarantees more views right from the off. So guess which one they go for!

I think all of us are around the same ballpark here. We know that these men and women are there for 2 reasons - 1) To entertain and 2) To make their bosses money. And that's it. So when any site, either VH or rlc stumble on a winning formula, it's bound to spread like wildfire, and it did. So you then get to the point where more places than not are doing the same thing. Many love it, many don't. But as i said at the start, where rlc fall down is that they persisted with the whole 'Real' scenarios, whereas VH don't hide what it's there for. VH know the audience mood and give the people what they want. And that's why it works for them. If rlc want to get back up the table, then they should either adopt a similar plan, or try the old fly on the wall style, rather than being stuck in the mud. The whole 'Voyeur' term for these sites has been lost due to 'Show' aspect, but hey, that in itself works. So if a site didn't label itself as such and maybe announced itself as just a cam site, people would know what's what. That's the basis of the whole conversation really. It's where rlc lost its way in the first place, when the cries of 'Fake' started to appear. So any site should be either 'Show' or a genuine 'fly on the wall, if something happens good, if it doesn't also good' Voyeur site. At least VH have got their image sorted, rlc are still stuck in no mans land. Everyone knows now that the tenants ARE putting on shows for the cams, but that's what many like to see, and that's fine and dandy. Myself and everyone above are kind of talking the same thing in a roundabout way, so there's no problem. There's no real difference between VH and rlc at the end of the day - It's how they are marketed, that's the difference.

Glad that we're with each other Plank and don't forget, it's often the work that you and several others put in that keeps the forum alive! Some days there's dust gathering on it!

As predicted, Masha has won the battle, and i agree, probably won't be long before a new place (Or a recycled place perhaps) will bare their names. Maybe they'll give us all a laugh and change their names! (It's happened with others!)

I think i was expecting someone like E&S or N&B to have been the most missed. It does seem like Leora was more popular than i thought!

Please don't get the wrong idea with my comment. I AM grateful for the contributions - As this gives me, and anyone looking, a really good idea what that site is like. From what they have shown me, from what i see, it's not to my liking. Simple as that - Like looking through a bar window, getting the idea of what it's like, and knowing not to go in! So i'm not being funny when i said the pics tells me it's not for me. You and others who contribute time and effort are certainly providing great service, all i'm saying is that from what i saw, VH isn't for me. Sorry if i gave you the impression i was being critical of your contributions, as i'm certainly not!! My comment was aimed at the actions of the tenants on cam - NOT at any of the forums contributors whatsoever. Hope i've explained myself, and again, apologies for giving the wrong impression.

The Oddest thing i've noticed since 'The Purge'. On both forums, it's the loss of Leora has been by far the most discussed and pined after. Genuinely surprised by that.

Yes, i agree - All the screen grabs that are uploaded only remind me never to watch it! To me it looks hilariously awful. BUT, as i have said before, the one thing that i will give them credit for is that they don't hide behind the whole "It's 100% real life, honestly" like a certain other place does. VH are saying "We know what you want, we know why we're here, so here it is". *LC still persist with the whole storyline scenarios, played out by appalling actors.

Not really sure what will happen, just like the rest of you, but the fact that i see from the forum a returnee is back suggests that they are still determined to carry on. Why else do that? Who knows what they are planning, but if they have to relocate tenants to other countries, i imagine that would be such a pain. How many would want to live elsewhere, away from family and friends? I'm sure the paperwork (Visa etc) would be huge for so many people. My guess is that whilst some would make such a move, if they snap up a bunch of apartments in Italy, Spain etc, it would be with new people inside. But rlc have shown they don't care whatsoever about customers, they know some will happily accept whatever is put in front of them, especially when it's fake lesbians and so called models from their agencies. Probably be a good chance all apartments will be like that in the end, and move closer to VH for daily shows that make even mfc or chaturbate look real. Well, you're welcome to it! (I still haven't watched rlc since, but keep up to date by looking at rlcf every few days to check up on things).

The one thing that's funny about the purge is the fact that some need attention desperately, and that's now gone. Imagine how Masha will be if her online 'Fame' also goes. Has Leora learnt to 'enjoy' herself yet without a camera positioned in front of her? And what about the DG from jane and dick? How is she coping without an audience? She must be going barmy!

What is saddening is that even after the massive purge of apartments, even after it's has been shrunken down to a skeleton staff, the amount of excitement and fascination with what's left has continued. It seems as long as the Barcas and MSD are faking it, that will do. That's all that's needed. Now wonder rlc didn't give a flying fuck.

Well, that's it. The final nail in the coffin. Now that Nina and Kira has become a full pay apartment, there's no point in me hanging around. 'Coz i certainly have no time for any of the actors being paid to cheat at being 'Real'. So, now that the last piece of reality has been taken away, i therefore hand in my resignation as a viewer. Interesting that the fakes are still being given free cams, shows you where the loyalties lie. So as a result, i won't have any comments on what i won't see! Thanks to all of you who liked what i had to say. I can always think to myself in the future "Before it was ruined by greed and fakery, I remember the days when rlc was a good site".... See ya! Hope that you can still get some pleasure from it.

They are probably going to be under more pressure to perform now more than ever. Expect to see an increase in shows with other visiting employees, sorry, 'Friends'.

It seems quite clear to me that it was the regular free shows in the guest room that did it. If she had confined it to the pay rooms (Like all the other good little pups do), i bet she wouldn't have been included in the new cull. The apartment has been made to pay, literally! Imagine if she suddenly lost her libido, how funny would that be!

So true, for any site like that, it should be the thing that does work. And if new subs are being sought (Which you would think would also be a priority) How does blocking the sight what people would be paying for help? You wouldn't go into a shop and buy something that you've never seen! No longer being able to see them unless you pay? Well they do they 'Every cloud has a silver lining'.....

The site is now centered around a small number of actors and recruiters. The Barcas, MSD, N&B, J&D and E&S. The only reason the others are there is because they need to have a decent number of other places. But it's all about those listed mainly. They are the important ones. People who are committed to putting on regular fake shows with 'Friends' who are in on it as much as the tenants. The idea has become an absolute joke. As are many inside those apartments.

And so after 9 years, this apartment becomes full pay only. No more free cams. Nice to have watched you Leora. You probably won't find many subscribing to get a view of you now. I know it's not your fault.
