Do all images have to go through a third party host, because for me this is a ball-ache!

I think this only applies to any RLC images who have given RLCF and CC big blue balls. You can send a PM (personal message) to Admin or StnCld316 to answer your question.

Yes for the time being.  I am working on a different alternative and once I know it's Free & Clear then I can proceed and get this Forum moving again.

It's just RLC Images that have to use Third Party Hosts. VHTV, VV and Camarads  and anything not RLC Related can use the Feature provided in the Comment Box if it's available.

Thanks for the reply mate. I appreciate that rlc stuff is out of bounds, their loss.

The only options open to post pics in the comment box is via the  Insert other media . tab

That gives two options; Insert existing attachment or Insert image from URL.

Unless I'm being a bit dull, I can't see any other way of inserting a pic etc, unlike the old editor.

Since a Third Party Host has to be used for RLC Content the Link would have to come directly from the Hosting Site that Hosting the Picture. Some Picture Hosts don't allow Hot Linking but they give you options on the Links and the one to use would be the BBCode link from the embedded Codes Menu.

The Insert other Media tab I am not to familiar with it as I have never used it.

Yeah would be good to post pics for a laugh again, and not the smartest when it comes to somethings.. Cheers

The appropriate phrase is "smart in some ways and dumb in other ways". All this computer technology just whips by over my head and actually took my hair with it - now almost bald guy speaking - lol.
