Sorry, but I find this extremely funny. Felt sorry for the puppy but I had to keep wiping tears from my eyes from laughing so hard. And no stunt double was used in the filming of this gif. I can relate to this because I had fallen from a similar height of stairs only they were not carpeted but wooden. Come to think about it, maybe that explains why I walk so funny - lol.
