Is it any wonder why nobody but those who choose to constantly denigrate the chatters seem to frequent the forums with the same exact redundant bullshit complaints day after day after day, and why chatters who chat about RLC and other topics in the chatbox day after day after day never seem to post in the forums. Gee, I wonder why. It's clear that RLC and RLCF will never ever see their glory days again, and that's why I ejected from both. But to check back months later and still see the same fucking childish middle-school bullying and taunting just solidifies my decision. It is completely baffling to me that forum posters who continuously vilify the chatters for their continuous rambling discussion of what's happening in RLC are unable to recognize their own constant ignorant behavior that they are condemning. Pot. Kettle. Get it? Less than 24 hours ago, a Russian Instagram model was found murdered, stabbed five times, and stuffed into a suitcase by her boyfriend in Moscow. I do not recognize the poor girl, but I hope she was not at RLC at one time or another. Chatters will actively discuss if it was a former RLC tenant ad infinitum, while forum posters will say "HAHA serves her right stupid bitch." So sad.

Oy vey! Ay carumba! Dios Mio! Wow! I never really checked in or even chimed in on the Frust/Anger board because, well, I have no frustrations or anger with anyone other than RLC, and I assumed this was what it was about when I surfed over here. Imagine my surprise. Damn. I always thought that I was a benign enough member in good standing to be a neutral party to post in both chat and the forum. Indeed, I partake in both, and believe that I am harmless, even humorous at very rare times, to be welcomed in each. To think that something I posted in the past may have pissed someone off definitely concerns me, as I never wish my words to harm. So... sorry, never my intention. Unless someone speaks ill of Kira or Nina - THEN we'll have a 'discussion.' Otherwise I have no problems with anyone in chat or forum, and I only wish for reciprocation. I'm just a podunk truck driver in bfe Virginia just tryin to make my way through life with alittle distraction now and then. I am quite cognizant of the chasm between chat members and forum members, AND the reasons behind the disparagement, and unfortunately I can see BOTH sides of the arguments - both sides have valid points, and both sides have INvalid points, too many of each of which for me to break down now. I guess this is the reason why the Frust/Anger board exists, so that these differences can be spewed out in one toxic place instead of across the spectrum. But lately I have noticed it has begun to seep out of its boundaries and into other boards and the chatbox. What I like to refer to as "drive-byes" or "hit-and-runs". I'd really like for this antagonism to cease - or at the very least keep it here, and keep it out of the neutral zones - but I know asking this of some is like pissing into the wind, or farting in church, or asking Kira out on a date - ain't never gonna happen. Oh HI EVERYBODY! It's me, Sturm, with another late night "things that make you go Hmmmm" moment. So, we know most of our favorite apartments have PETS - cats, dogs, bunnies, birds, lizards, what have you. Some more than others. I was watching Martina & Alberto tonight (0600 their time) and noticed they were both snoozing on the couch with Neggie. Neggie is the nickname I gave him since he is a black dog and the Spanish word for black is 'negro' so I went with Neggie. Fuck ME if you think I'm racist - not meant to be, I'm just trying to be grammatically correct. ANYWAY, I got to wondering, do we know how many other tenants have pets? Dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, whatever? Let us list those that we know, shall we? Of course, I start with Butch and Sundance, Nina and Kira's twin brother long haired orange tabbies... gorgeous and fun and funny! I love watching them. Next, Nelly and Bogdan's EXQUISITE Maine Coon. This cat is fucking beautiful. I call her Cleopatra, because she deserves such a title. I refrain from naming Leora's mutt, since I don't watch Leora, and everyone else complains about his incessant barking whenever she bates, soooo, yeah. Martina/Alberto, Neggie, he is a very good doggie. Reminds me of my own black doggie, Fred. No one knows what became of dearly departed Julia and Eric's poor bunny. I hope he's hopping in carrot patches now. Poor rabbit. I think Anabel and Fhim have bunnies too? Not sure, I haven't paid attention here unless Anabel is playing her violin. Sorry. My dear Maya, and her poor, old, wretched Wrinkles (the dog). He's on his last leg, as he gets no exercise, and he's bored to fucking death. I feel the most for Wrinkles. And the three cats - meh, I love cats but I can't name them. I bet they would love to escape outside and face Siberia on their own. Lovely Chloe and Tyler, you have one of those hairless cats like MSD, and you love your kitty, and he loves you, even when he pees in your bed. That's love. He is named Peechy. M/S/D - of course I have to mention FANG, the original hairless cat - some of the most epic RLC viewing was because of FANG sinking his teeth into a guest and spraying arterial blood all over the apt. I will never forget that night (and neither will the guest - nor any of us). GP: I don't watch GP but I once saw there were several stray cats that came around the pool, and even came in the house. I use Chrome almost exclusively, with no issues. I also switched over to Edge, and had no probs - to be honest, Edge was a tad bit quicker.

Sorry members, but I must echo @StnCld316 - I do not experience the anomalies some of you have mentioned. I am certainly NOT dismissing your observations, I am sure you are experiencing them, I'm just saying the issues don't appear to be across the spectrum, which makes finding a solution to your specific issues a lot harder. At least there is the option of default to fall back on. Hang in there, I know Admin will get the kinks worked out eventually. And please keep the observations/complaints/suggestions coming. It's the only way things will improve.

Oy, I debated CQ on this topic; I have a lot of concerns, questions, and opinions. And we all know what opinions are like. Not sure if I'm ready to express them yet. I'm quite content just being the 'Murican trucker obsess- sorry, fascinated with - my St Pete baby girl. I will agree, there is a lot of the "wild west" out in the chat box lately, and a few scoundrels amidst the forum, too. Vets know how to weed them out, call them out, or just ignore them, which is the best policy here overall. I'm not quite a vet, just barely over being a "newbie." But someone mentioned that the term "newbie" is a little discrediting to new forum members, and I agree. After all, let's not forget, I was here a long time ago under another pseudo until some signals got garbled and I had to create a new user id, which, in essence, made me a "newbie" again, even though I had 8 months under my belt at the time. And here I am just over a newbie again. Granted, the term 'newbie' is sort of a right of passage in any internet forum, but still. SO what I'm saying is a newbie may be a 'newbie' to us under a new pseudo, but they might actually be a vet and have valuable knowledge, but when they express that historical knowledge, are shot down, and not so delicately, I might add. I have met several of these fine folks offline, and they have given me legitimate reasons why they won't engage the chatbox anymore. I don't blame them, and I have to agree with them, but, much like some of our other steadfast members, I keep charging once more into the breach. We have the entire lot here, for sure: we got jokers (that's me), we got smokers, we got midnight tokers, ponderers, mehers, philosophers, ESP predictors, speculators, spammers, dictators and hammers, supporters, deniers, whiners and criers, those who get it, those who don't get it, conspiracy theorists, those who are utterly confused but just want to see naked women, those who came here expecting pornhub or xhamster, those who might be female but who are we to really know and those who might be male but who are we to really know? On top of all this, there's EuroPols, liberals, conservatives, fucking CANADIANS even, and the rest of the political lot which I have no dog in and couldn't care less about. I think @RUBBERMAN summed it up best a few posts above. *Sigh* I'm out of breath. A chatbox moderator is indeed a good idea here - to a point. It would have to be someone SO neutral on all sides and I don't think such a person exists. For example, I love all you guys (and gurls) here in forum and on chat. There was one member who had disparaging words toward a former tenant whom I enjoyed watching, and I thought was unfair, but I also realized hey, he's looking at this from a totally diff perspective than me, so I need to respect that opinion. So it was all kool and the gang. And we all need to learn how to do that for serendipity here. Except until one of you makes the mistake of saying something negative about Kira. Howdy StnCld316, I have another suggestion for you to pass along to Admin about the Babble chatbox. The 'new message' alert, the old-school Windows TAADAAA sound, needs to be changed or toned down some. It is VERY loud, even if I have my volume low. The old 'thwwwip' sound would be fine, or a selection of a few sounds users could choose from would be most ideal. I know the obvious answer is for me to turn my own volume down more, but that is not a solution for me, as I need my volume up, as I multi-task while chatting in the forum. A couple other users have expressed the same annoyance. Just a thought, and thanks for your time!
