Yeah, the pose thing is too dry and somewhat unnatural. Girls are beauty in motion so watching their every moves shows their body and expressions as it happens. This gives us a complete picture of them and not with just one still pic. Your multiple pics succeed at showing different angles, views and even subtleties of the girls. A pic is one dimensional while a video can be too fast (constantly pausing to catch that certain position).
