@plank it seem now due to the lack of subjects to talk about some have turned to infighting,not good at all,to quote plank have i had anything yes,i have won few days free in the past from VHTV on more than one occasion.the difference between here and next door is 1 i can upload posts straight away without external hosting.2 here the other members are less picky.not to quote or badmouth other members.but they are much closer with eachother there as they are constantly chatting with eachother,maybe they have more time to than we do here,as i work long hours, i can only visit on my days off,when on leave i can get a weeks worth of viewing,which to me is better than buying a whole month and not being able to view or post,as by the time i get in from work everyones in sleep mode,unless they are in a different time zone,so when i have the time i do contribute as seen by the amount of posts i have submitted,TBH i prefer this site to the one next door.yes it seems now VHTV have cornered the market for themselves.voyeurvilla gone RLC dont bother with since desiree left camrads shot themselves in the foot bigtime and have yet to move forward,they got too much stale bread and nothing fresh there.so its left to us to find entertainment and keep the site going,yes i understand that its hard to keep contact as most of us have other commitments and live in different parts of the world.so instead of sniping at eachother lets work together,as without this site where would we all be,through this site we have made friends so lets keep it that way.

In the beginning years of RealLifeCamFan users became a Hero Member after 30 decent posts over time (no registering fees back then). I understand xcamfan needs a registering fee of $12/year(i think) to cover costs. Currently new members sign up but most don't participate. Back then "newbies" tended to participate because the site was alive and hopping.  Maybe take a look and see if something similar can be restarted. If they make 30 or 50 comment posts within 30 days then they get labelled as a "probie" or "new recruit" or "freshman" or whatever and get free access for only the first year (the following year they would have to pay the $12 fee). When they register they can choose to pay the $12 or do the 30 day trial period to make the minimum posts. This way we should get some new recruits posting comments and hopefully increase participation and current members responding to their comments. Some people do have issues paying the $12 fee so this might help them to get involved. This site needs participants in a hurry so encouraging new voyeurs would be a start.

The Hero Member did work and actually convinced me to give it a go and joined this site. This was how members initially came aboard. Worth a try by doing something that succeeded in the past.

agreed,the hero member was great idea.it encouraged us to post good dtuff not just anything to get the numbers up.another nice thing is to even has some some of the vhtv housemates chat with us like some do nextdoor.that would encourage new members,a bit of interaction with them would certainly go a long way.rmember ari friend patti she even phoned me once before couple years ago,i still keep in contact with ari and george,even though they have left vhtv,since we watch them we tend to get to know them,through daily habbits and body language,since its not a english speaking site,unless someone understands and can translate whats happening,but yes anything that can bring this site up can only be a good thing.

Absolutely mate, not  criticising you at all, just giving my opinion, at least you are trying to come up with suggestions, I haven't got a clue how the forum moves forward.
As for the chat room, I've given my opinion on that before,so I'm not going to go over old ground.
I agree it needs to change,we were never allowed to comment about the participants private life outside of whatever project they are involved in.
I don't know how or why that has changed. I really do not give a flying one about what this girl is having for her evening meal or what shoes she is wearing.

Like you I have limited time that I can get onto the forum & post stuff. Agree, if this site closed down would I join CC.....hell no. We were always a 'friendly' forum.
I've always been against the idea of the participants interacting with the forums.I feel leaves the participants open to abuse,unreasonable demands etc
Also some of the harsh comments on the forums are not going to be any good for their mental health.
I am pleased that you are still in contact with Ari,I always liked her.

Agree, I joined & started posting because I wanted to get access to the Gallery. I thought I would struggle with getting to 30 'meaningful' posts.
Now look at the amount of shit I have posted. I also wanted a distraction from real life shit I was going through at the time. It worked.

Once again, it's the usual suspects that are involved in this discussion, it would be nice to see some of our other members stepping up, and contributing to the site as a whole.

The ability to freely talk about anything (except politics and religion) in the Chat Room with others across the world in live action is a great away to connect immediately and converse back and forth. This was the main reason why I joined and to slowly participate in the forums. I was happy being able to make friends and talk to others in different countries even though time zones created issues. They were great people and many faded away. Time to open up the Chat Room back to how it was and in time more members WILL jump on board and join the good informative and funny chats. Forums here are not used the same at CC whereby they use them in lieu of the Chat Room.

I guess after reading most of you guys comments "that makes me the bully of the Forum" sorry members but I hate  it when other members try and talk down to new members, they seems to always want respect but give very little to others unless they are part of their group.  I try my best to say out of the Chat Room unless I read something fucked up towards another then they bitch when they know they are wrong.   I have no suggestion that I would want to say publicly because it would most likely get me banned for good.  Believe it or not I am better in the Chat Room then I am in the forum that's where I started off at and looked forward to daily, but it was time to move on and let others have their say more freely with out trying to be Mr. Know it all-all the time.  Hopefully things well start to get better soon.

Come on Rubberman - you ain't a bully. You are too soft to be a hardball. All us long-time members are trying to teach these Barca lovers to mind their own business and stick to being a voyeur only. More to talk about than the petty little things the little girlie's do. The chatters are obsessive and narrow minded. We have all been around trying to help this site and the fear of losing xcamfan is a reality but not one chatter gives a shit.

Stay the course Rubberma you will not get banned. I have been bad-mouthing Admin and StnCld316 about not doing enough to re-invigorate this site and get more members to participate just like a few years ago. And yet I am still here. The Chat Room definitely needs an overhaul ASAP or everyone will lose this site. As I keep saying - "what have the chatters contributed to this site" when only 5 to 8 members use the chat room. If anyone should get a temporary ban it should be all the current chatters for "directly or indirectly" hurting this site and NOT being a team player. To me, I believe they are actually DIRESPECTING this site to the point of hindering other members from participating in the Chat Room and causing overall participation to nosedive considerably.

Perhaps the current chatters should be forced to do their discussions in the Barca forum fan pages just like how they do it at CC. See how they like it. Or tell them to join CC and see if they get put in their place by the control freaks there.

So Rubberman, as you were. Carry on and rattle other's cages. We know you are a pussycat just like us and want the best for xcamfan. Us long-time members know and feel the respect. IF we come across as bullies it is in defense of this site and other decent members that try to participate..

Found this on the Babble site. I am not computer savvy but wonder about the ability to use two chat rooms like we have been asking for. 

Features:

• Rooms: Babble comes with two default rooms that can not be removed. The “Babble” room is used by default for Babble, and the Widget Room is used by the “Widget” (the widget can be configured to use the default room).  Each room has permissions that can be set like “View, Message, Whisper, Edit, Delete, Upload, and Archives”. Each room also has the ability to be configured independently of each other on uploads (what types and sizes), how many messages to show by default, rules to show before entering the room. Rooms can also have 3 bots they can configure (more on bots later). Rooms can be password protected.
• Uploads: Each room can be configured to allow uploads.  If the upload is an image, the image will be “lazy loaded” and resized to fit the dimensions of the message area better. If it is a non-image upload, it will display a link to download. NOTE: Groups who can see the room, can also download and view images.

As seen above, can our Admin work with Babble to see if two chat rooms are doable or if Babble has something similar? If not, perhaps Admin can find a more optimum chat room(s) provider. With everchanging internet technology there must be something out there now that can be more feasible for xcamfan needs. Also, a chat room history is always desirable to have. Just thinking, maybe xcamfan might have to do a major reset as to what the purpose or goal of this site is all about and how to increase membership and overall participants. It is supposedly focused on voyeurism but today it is more or less limited to RLC and World Outside topics. The chat is mostly about RLC and the Barca girls while most forum postings are non-voyeur topics (except VHTV and porn pics/videos).

I will agree (or at least I am thinking), most long-term and new members seem to want news/updates/daily discussions about RLC but what the chatters talk about is garbage/childish/stalkerish and above and beyond overanalyze the tenants every tiny petty movements or make weird know-it-all suspicions.

Again I will reiterate, the success of xcamfan depends on a vibrant chat room 24/7. The forum posts are a bonus and can add to/complement what is discussed in the chat room. Bottom line, the Chat Room has to be more widely used and brought back to life again ASAP or provide another Chat Room for us normal chatters.

Now it is May 26, 2021 which means 42 days or 6 weeks have passed and not one, I repeat not one, chatter has responded to this request. That should tell you something. The chatters only care about chatting about RLC and the Barca girls and don't give a shit about the rest of this site. I guess they believe xcamfan is set up for them and they are the ones keeping this site alive and vibrant - PMSL. 

StnCld316, it is time for you or Admin to make several long visits in the Chat Room when the few chatters are yapping together and make a plea or give them an ultimatum to cease and desist about how they control the topics of discussion and allow other wannabe chatters to talk about anything. Stress that rude or disrespectful chatters will be severely dealt with and point out that the Chat Room is not all about RLC and Barca. By the way, ask them to spend time looking through all the forum topics to hopefully widen their eyes to what good stuff xcamfan provides other than their RLC/Barca crap talk.

Are these chatters (usually same 8-12 members over the last 2 years) beneficial or become a hindrance/distraction/negative to xcamfan in terms of losing participants or the reason why new members don't participate? We know that RLC dmca takedown and the removal of the chance for a "hero membership" have played a part in less participating but the type of chat room talk has to be a factor plus some must get tired of the same types of non-voyeur topics in the forums (including me).

Okay, I have given my two cents worth of opinions, ideas and suggestions over the last six weeks. Still waiting for any possible "next moves" by xcamfan whenever that might be. Hard to stay interested when every day it is the same thing. Slowly watching good members fade away or appear less often and new members not participating is frustrating but to continuously see the chat room members carry on their merry way is a huge kick in the nuts and very painful.

Replace CodingJungle.com since their Babble Chat Room is crap - very limited in it's use as it's format is terrible. This has to be the worst Chat Room that I ever tried to use in over 5 years now. Tried to chat for a couple of hours each time with no success. Either no one logged in (time zones no excuse) or chat went sideways and reverted back to Barca shit talk. I believe the constant focus and chat about the Barca tenants has totally ruined this site significantly. Any forum posts can only do so much to help this site.

Need to poll or question, somehow, members to find out why they don't participate anywhere in this site (so why do they even join?). Question or difficult task - how do you get any replies from members who don't participate other than a popup notice when members register or log in? StnCld316, like in chess, your move.

I had added videos into the gallery a few weeks ago but even the Gallery format sucks. The only good thing about this site are the forums topics/pages.

I noticed that since Babble (Chat Room) was down for about a day and a half there was an uptick or increase in members and guests checking out various forum topics - huhhh.

Perhaps @PeterGrey has the right idea. He started the topic "RLC daily comments" which was to cover anything besides RLC. The Chat Room talk is mainly about RLC and Barca with no archives and current comments visible up to maybe 10 or 15 posts and as a new one pops up then older comments in turn disappear forever. WHY NOT start a topic RLC/BARCA AS IT HAPPENS for the chatters so they can continuously make comments, other chatters can see the posts and reply, a permanent archive of each post will stay so it would act as an archive history for chatters and other members and guests can read them (at least I think guests have the ability to read forum posts)? This way, the RLC/Barca chat will be in one main location in the forums without using individual fan pages. I believe CC still uses fan pages or did before. It would be a win for the chatters because they would have an archive while perhaps the Chat Room could open up to other topics of discussions similar to years ago. Current chatters never or rarely ever post anything in fan pages. The chatters would glue in to the RLC/Barca AS IT HAPPENS topic and see each other's comments and reply back and forth quite similar to the Chat Room.

It would be a hard sell and tough for the chatters to vacate the Chat Room but it might end up being more doable and a much better read and follow up with all their juicy talk. Think of it as a chat within the forum. Complaints should more than likely come to an end? Maybe.

Or then again, maybe we should leave the chatters alone with no archives and start our own "TALK FREELY ABOUT ANYTHING YOU FUCKiN" WANT" topic in the forum as a form of Chat Room but would include the natural running archive history. - hmmmmmm. What do you think?
