I too agree with what you are saying about the chat room, net and what sells. My point is - where are all the chatters? This site had at least 15 to 30 chatters at any given time plus even the night crew (when all the RLC apartments were asleep) had 8 to 20 chatters across the world. More voyeur cam sites are active now opposed to only RLC and perhaps voyeur-villa but the main topic in the Chat Room over the last few years is RLC. We believe the Chat Room changed for the worse. In the past, the Chat room was mostly active 24/7 with only the occasional hour or two being silent. Is it acceptable for the Chat Room to be dead for 10 to 16 hours or more every day. I think not. Yes, times have changed but the Chat Room should be rejuvenated to TRY and get more members to feel free and easy to chat with others about ANYTHING besides RLC. 

Some xcamfan fan members tried and still post a variety of stuff in the forums to keep this site alive for other members to view. What have the chatters done to increase member participation? Enough said. We know that chat is not serious but it is totally ridiculous. A good dialogue is never offensive as long as it informative, positive and worth the time discussing things. For me, the current Chat Room is a waste of time and lacks any oomph.

Well examine what you are saying.  What does Xcamfan offer, sell or show that attracts customers ?  I came here looking for a place to chat about RLC, but I've seen nothing more that it offers.  Oh yeah, pictures and things like that.  Sometime lively chat.  I may be in a bubble and of course nowhere near as invested in voyeur, RLC and other sites like it the way others are.  Why would chatters be responsible for increasing membership ?  Amazon is not popular because its members make it so, its that way due to what they offer, period.  Behavior is an individual trait and changes based on the likes and dislikes of the individual, so you can't "MAKE" people behave as you want.   If chat is so aggressive that it chases others away, then the platform needs to become more like Reddit.com and have moderators that are actively banning folk for breaking the rules.  But mostly chat rooms have limited rules so that they can attract more folk.

Look at Reddit and how many rooms try and control the flow and end up with moderators who are really not allowing free flowing conversation, but driving people out of sub-reddits because they ban people for saying things that are true, a perfect example of cancel culture.  If that's what you want, then you end up with a chat room that is only occupied by single minded people who allow no outside convo.

So your complaint should not be about the chatters.  Your frustration sounds more to do with the platform themselves and how they have "changed" and manage.  Just like I read in chat all the time, someone bitching at RLC for not doing this or I'm cancelling my subscription because it's dead or the girls not having enough sex.  You know how many times I've threatened my cable company that I'm moving to another company because their service sucks?  They know since they have a monopoly for my region that I ain't going no where and will put up with their shit for long time to come.

Just another way of saying, I'll take my ball home, you guys figure out how to play without!  Chat room mentality has nothing to do with how RLC or the others manage and run their platform.  Again, chatters are people just like you and I and they talk about what they talk about.  If the controlling entity of the chat does not like what they are talking about they can take action.  But whining about the chatters and what they talk about makes NO SENSE at all.   I cannot understand the mentality that say, just because the chatters don't talk about what you like or RLC is not giving me what I need to be a subscriber, I'm going to complain ad nauseam (definition:  referring to something that has been done or repeated so often that it has become annoying or tiresome).
