By the time I get here, early hours UK time, there is nothing happening on RLC. Which is why I have become an expert on the Apartment Cat's activities.
I come to RLCF for updates & the gallery to see what I have missed. I also enjoy reading the posts, no matter whether I agree or disagree strongly with them, or how random they might be, and let's face I'm guilty of that offence!
The Shoutbox is great. There have been so many genuine 'laugh out loud' moments in there with the late night crew, or 'Usual Suspects' as I call them, long may it continue!

Due to the RLC membership being so expensive & from what I have read, there seems to be a lot of unhappy bunnies & numerous members stopping their subscriptions.
Maybe RLC need to seriously look at reducing their prices to attract new, or retain, members.But that would leave a hole in their funds.
So maybe they should allow sponsoring of the tenants.
For example, I thought of Ilona & her laptop & thought what about individal sponsors?

I thought about it for a while and decided that here is probably the right place. Don’t know? Don’t care!
I have sat on my hands for too long now & watched this fantastic forum slowly sliding into the Abyss. So here goes, time for an epic rant.
Part1, Rules & Regulations.
Recently there seems to have been a lot of confusion regarding the rules & regulations. Such as the rule about negative posts in the Fan Pages. As I have stated in the thread, â€Fan pages - what are they for??†.

‘If we are expecting this forum to be all rainbows & unicorns and neutralized then it will become as dull as dishwater.’
It seems to me that the members are now confused as to what they are/are not allowed to post,other than the totally bleedin’ obvious. But what constitutes a negative comment? Maybe someone could explain it to the forum because it seems to me that even The Mods themselves seem to be lost as to what they should be allowing and what they should be deleting. Also whilst we are on the subject of deletion. Before Mods/Admin delete a post could you take a copy of it, so you can send it via PM to the member who is being censored, so they can understand how, where & why they went wrong so it doesn’t happen again?
 
Part2, Going off topic in the Chatroom/Shoutbox. In a previous thread, in the Frustration/Anger board, “negativity-in-the-chat-boxâ€. I stated, ‘the Chatroom/Shoutbox used to be fun’. Then I threw my teddy out of the cot! (took my own advice and withdrew from the chatroom before I exploded into rage.)
The room is supposed to be for RLC based chat, that is a given, it’s why we are here after all. But the conflicting message that ‘everyone should stay on-side’ and not wander off into personal areas seems to me, at odds with the friendly communal aspect of the Chat? Fair enough, if there is a lot going on in RLC-land then that is where the Chatroom should be focussed. I don’t have a problem with the room talking about a ‘hot topic’ e.g. SugarB on web-cam, it is great fun when the room is fired up. But what about when it is quiet in RLC-land? The great thing about the Chatroom is that sense of community, there are people who will help you if you need it. For instance, I’ve tried to help a member fix his guitar, I’ve seen others trying to help fix a members’ heating boiler. Many times I have advised newbies when others have ignored them. I’ve even taken that advice to PM so it doesn’t get in the way of the chatroom. So a brief, ‘hello mate did you fix your car?’ and a couple of follow up back & forth responses is a not allowed, but a banal, ’I want to f*** Nelly!’ is ok?
 Part3, Sure we all like to speculate about what has happened or might, it is part of the whole forum thing. Occasionally we can all be negative at times but usually it is good natured chat or banter or craic , the debate will go on, and sometimes we will have to agree to disagree, and there is no ‘hard feelings’. But yet again it seems that the Chatroom has been taken over, ‘occupied’ even, by members who want to preach and rant on about their particular favourite / most hated tenant or apartment. It doesn’t really matter that their conversation is based on pure speculation, and (* insert the deity of your choice) God help you if you should question their theory, or ask for evidence. There really is no point in trying to raise an alternative point of view, because if you dare, that’s when they get nasty & take it all too personally. They will respond with tales of their ‘research’, which of course is all true because they say so and is therefore FACT!  It doesn’t really matter to them that their conversation has become tedious to the point of boring a glass eye to sleep! They are oblivious!
Surely it cannot be right when the rest of the chatroom is being dictated to, staying silent, staying on the side-lines, logging-out, or worse, not coming into the chatroom at all because of a few ? 
I expect the response will be, “the mods can & should handle itâ€. This happens when the Mod’s aren’t around, they can’t be here 24/7. Usually the Chatroom can police itself, but members have been warned not to act like mods, but to report the problem instead.

There is a lot of this history that is being repeated, just different tenants.

And while I am at it, can the ‘Read Me Board’ be solely for Advice, Information & Help, at the moment there are a few post’s in there that should be in General Discussion Board, or should it be in Frustrations…..or Negative……or Suggestions or………..?

But if someone has an opinion on Elvis and wants to open up the subject for debate then surely that's a good thing?

Joke aside I agree with what Toolmaker has said, we are not here to judge.
We all have different tastes,for instance.Some love Leora, others can't abide her. Others loved K & K,others thought they were playing us all. Some can't stand C&S,because of Elvis, but will watch N&K & dare to dream that i&D will go at it.
 
Think about it for a minute, how much time do you spend looking at RLC? And how would you feel if someone looked at your viewing of RLC and said,"Voyeurism,that's sick, you're weird" Would you defend yourself? Could you, or should you have to justify your behaviour in viewing the site? Is it an illness? To some, yes probably!
The same could be said for RLCF.
Try explaining this site,"it's a site where fans of RLC can go and exchange their views about RLC, you can read forums & look at pics of the tenants. it's a bit like a Big Brother forum,but not shit!" And if you visit the site everyday,are you an interested active member or are you an addict. Or is that some form of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder?
It is not that long ago that homosexuality was viewed as a Mental Illness,you were a 'social or sexual deviant', therefore 'mad' and could be locked up in an old Asylum indefinitely or until you were 'cured' of your deviancy.

Well since I started this thread, maybe it is time I try to explain why.
 
It isn't the off topic conversations that annoyed me (and still do), it is the playground bully boy tactics.  It seems that a few decide to take a dislike to one of the tenants then proceeds to constantly bitch, moan, gripe, complain etc., about them.  Because these posters are regulars, it seems others feel they have to agree with the comments, and if anyone dares disagree, they are ridiculed, threatened, ignored, or just abused for having an opinion.
 
Just look at some of the comments about Paul, Lev, Ilona, and now Adele - you would think by reading the shout box that these people have committed mass genocide or killed kittens for a living.  I know, especially in regard to Paul and Lev that it is just petty jealousy coming out but with Ilona and Adele it has really got beyond a joke at time what these two have been accused of.  
 
Hell even look at Suzan, Hector and Pablo, according to some 'in the know' they have all been screwing each other, yet there isn't a photo or a video to back this up.  Yet, as I just saw in the Chat Box right now, when someone asks for proof the accuser gets very defensive and starts throwing accusations at the one asking the question!
 
I always thought the Chat Box was somewhere where a member of this site can came, have some banter, ask a question or two, catch up on what has been happening on the project and have some laughs - guess I thought wrong.

I really don't know what the reason they make this kind of ugly things on their bodies.. 

One of the reasons why I joined this site was the Chat Box.  Yes reading the forum posts and catching up on all the gossip was part of it, but originally I enjoyed the repartee and banter in the box.
 
But lately I have been avoiding it like the plague.  All it seems to be is negative, who can talk the most shit about tenants.  Never a nice word about them, it seems everyone commenting can do a better job as a RLC tenant.  And let's not forget all the tough keyboard warriors there who jump down anyone's throat if they dare have anything nice to say about a tenant.  Hell according to these experts, every tenant in the Project is either ugly, useless, boring, brain dead or is in some mysterious conspiracy.
 
Here's a hint, if you can't find ONE thing about RLC you like, maybe you should be here, there are plenty of other sites around but all this bullshit is turning people off both RLC and RLCF, make no mistake about it.

What Mooka described concerning the girls' apartment is absolutely correct. The chat gets very miserable at peak hours, which is why I tend to show my face when things have died down. I agree that the environment cannot be roses all the time, but allowing the negativity (theories, conspiracies or otherwise) to be common just diminishes the quality of the site and makes it uncomfortable for other members.
 
I find myself cringing at the shout-box regularly.

Any permanent guests usually don't amount to anything. Even SugarBonnie is a disappointment while there but more so now that she is a cam4 girl. The occasional guest peaks my interest but then gone. The female guest at Adriana and Daniel is a hottie and looks like Adriana's sister. She's gorgeous and built and looks similar to Adriana (pics in the forum).
 
    It seems that the guests are there for the same purpose as the pets (even the fish in the aquarium), the tv and lights left on plus a dim light left on to keep fucking with the infra red lighting on the cams (click clicking from normal lights to night lighting). To me i believe it is RLC's intention to fool paying and non-paying members to visit the apts and cams thinking someone is awake or moving in the rooms. This is similar to my neighbor leaving lights on when sleeping or not home and i would stare into their window from mine trying to catch some nudity. I wasted so many hours (okay days) out of my life for absolutely nothing - them bastards (never my fault for being a perv - lol).
 
    It is rare to see a guest stock up the fridge or cupboards with groceries. Possible though because i have bad timing catching anything due to time zone issues matching my schedule. I even have bad timing in my wet dreams - lmao. RLC must cover any added costs for electricity that the guests use for tv, computer, cooking, heating or air conditioner, laundry and the infrequent shower/baths .
 
    Basically i think RLC gives permission to have guests (short and long term) since it eventually benefits them by creating  false numbers related to potentially increasing paid subscribers and cam viewing hits or visits for apts. These increased numbers could correlate to a higher resale value for the business due to the traffic volume relative to similar internet sites. Instead of RLC enticing subscribers by quality tenants that satisfy our voyeuristic needs it would appear that they are relying on tricks and fake shit/scripting and other so-called games or ploys to fool the fools since voyeurs have a weak spot for women. Having extra people in the same number of apts could peak the interest of viewers so they continue to watch the cams in case of something exciting might happen.
 
    All-in-all, for the lack of a better term, the last 6 months appears to be more of a fucking freak show (weird action of guests, weird looking guests, pets running the apts, spousal abuse, spouse being tied up, use of a whip, fake or scripted actions, etc.). Reallifecam has "real" people (the good, bad and ugly) but the "life" part is very much debatable.
 
      My suggestion, if possible, compensate some guests willing to "show". Win for the guest, win for RLC and a big win for us fucking perverts.

I thought that might have been the case.Or maybe RLC is prohibiting smoking in order to show a good example for any children who may be watching!? Don't want the little kids to start smoking now do we?
