Haven't been around in some time but sincerely hope that the news of BTR is wrong. He is a solid guy and very likable.

I like this idea, however not sure how this could be done, to do this right from an RLC perspective it would have to be done in several languages.
 
 
I would also like to see more mature couples (30+),  this may get rid of some of the childish acting that sometimes goes on.
 
Maybe have an apartment for swingers.
 
Bonus structured incentives for the occupants.

Well since I started this thread, maybe it is time I try to explain why.
 
It isn't the off topic conversations that annoyed me (and still do), it is the playground bully boy tactics.  It seems that a few decide to take a dislike to one of the tenants then proceeds to constantly bitch, moan, gripe, complain etc., about them.  Because these posters are regulars, it seems others feel they have to agree with the comments, and if anyone dares disagree, they are ridiculed, threatened, ignored, or just abused for having an opinion.
 
Just look at some of the comments about Paul, Lev, Ilona, and now Adele - you would think by reading the shout box that these people have committed mass genocide or killed kittens for a living.  I know, especially in regard to Paul and Lev that it is just petty jealousy coming out but with Ilona and Adele it has really got beyond a joke at time what these two have been accused of.  
 
Hell even look at Suzan, Hector and Pablo, according to some 'in the know' they have all been screwing each other, yet there isn't a photo or a video to back this up.  Yet, as I just saw in the Chat Box right now, when someone asks for proof the accuser gets very defensive and starts throwing accusations at the one asking the question!
 
I always thought the Chat Box was somewhere where a member of this site can came, have some banter, ask a question or two, catch up on what has been happening on the project and have some laughs - guess I thought wrong. 

Everyone is supposed to understand that the proper thing to do is notify a Moderator through the Private Message system and explain the situation, the person (s) it involved,  and the  time frame with which it happens.
 
DO NOT BECOME A MODERATOR AND TRY TO HANDLE THE SITUATION YOURSELVES.
 
I HAVE not received any PM's concerning any members that have acted inappropriately.
 
WHEN the Moderators do get notifications, the offenders will be dealt with.  
 
                 AND Admin will be advised also.
 
 
                 Aggressive behavior against any forum members WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

I WILL NEVER .agree to this site becoming a premium site ,If you want to pay then that is entirely upto you .And if members feel that the service we offer gives you enough pleasure that you feel you would LIKE to contribute a donation,Then we would welcome it ,
 
We here the staff of RLCF give our services for free and gratious and any donations go back into the running of the site .WE are a non-profit organisation.
 
As to your comment on RLC itself , im glad you feel like that i agree it is great concept if you fully understand what RLC are trying to provide.Many members live in a world of wizards and goblins and are so far away with the fairies that they havent managed to grasp the concept of RLC .They  could plead ignorance or an inability to read the F.A.Q page on RLC, And for those members i should offer AWARENESS AND READING classes,EVERY SUNDAY 2PM GMT in the chatroom . Dont forget to bring your own pen and paper, dont forget we are a non-profit org.LOL

I watched for free for 18 months before paying up.   What tipped me was missing so much of the ilona irma anna weeks.   That's part of what is so addictive about RLC - you really do miss stuff that isn't captured in the occasional photos on RLCF or CC, and this is the interaction between people you quickly come to feel affection for.   Though these photos are very valuable in filling in the gaps we miss.
 
What a brilliant concept RLC came up with, and then made work.   Making it work costs money and when the K & K apartment opened I felt RLC deserved my money.
 
During the period I didn't pay all of you on RLCF kept us all up to date with what was happening and behind the scenes (because I could see only the free cams) vids and pics that kept the excitement alive.   This site is an important addition to the enjoyment of RLC and it consists of the thoughts humour cantankerousness and wisdom of many.   Individually we may not be worth much, but together all the contributions to the site makes viewing RLC much better.    Of course this site also costs money and I guess we'll soon be hearing from BTR that free use can't last for ever.
 
So thank you to everyone.    But most of all thank you to RLC for a brilliant site.

With RLCF we are able to share something that we all have in common. Because of this we are able to create friendships across this vast world through words without physically seeing each other. We may not always agree with each other but we are always encouraged to respect each other and love one another.

I haven't been a member here for that long, but I do feel connected to you. I've always known that things were serious with Blue, but seeing your cheerfull comments and observations allways gave me hope that things would be sort of okay in a while. I still have those hopes, they just took a bit of a dent after your goodbye-post in the chatroom tonight. I'm not ashamed to share with you that I actually cried after that..
 
My thoughts and best wishes are with you. I totally understand you taking a break from RLCF, but if you ever need a bit of distraction and some light conversation, we are here for you.

I don't know Blue or Bonnie as well as you all do... I've seen them online but have never had the chance to chat with them...No matter what it is always a sad feeling when someone you care for so much is ill... one of our older members is going through a bad time with a serious illness , can we all please leave a message of comfort here for him and his wife bonnie ..you can use your own words or use qoutes like this 

Lately the chatbox as become a place to bully ,threaten and discredit members . this is not what it is designed for , it is a place to openly discuss anything that members wish to chat about ,but remember we are a fan site of RLC. Its nice to hear members views on other sites , Are we not adults ,can we not find a common ground for all members to become involved ....
 
 
so as of today 02/24/16  anybody seen to be either bulling or using the chatbox to intimidate another member will have there posting privalages removed for 1 week for the first offence . then any further breaches from that member after they are reinstated will have there account closed .
 
 
 
Also any member found to be deliberately trying to change a topic of conversation for there own personal gain .ie: running commentries on useless actions in a said appartment ,Or constant negativity .We all understand how frustrating RLC can be at times and we dont need members reminding us of it ,  the exception to this rule is when the commentry is asked for by more than 3 members in chat . 
 
What all users of the chat need to remember is that the chat option is only used by 1% of our members . so its a small community that use it and if between you all you cant find peace and harmony again , then i will have to rethink the chatbox option , 
 
 
So can all chatbox users please except that it is a option for all members to use and not a personal battleground .

This is the main reason why sometimes I watch and read without logging in, and depending on how the chat is going and who is on, then I may or may not log in.
I have witnessed some ugly stuff going on as you mentioned.
When I first started logging in, conversations were pretty much fun and friendly even with difference of opinions, but there is definitely a recent trend of feuding and ganging up on others with different opinions.
 
Bottom line for me is that RLC and their tenants don't pay my bills, so whether they perform or not is irrelevant to me, I take what I can and I'm fine with it, when I see the value for me, THAN I will pay to watch RLC with no expectations (after all it is suppose to be real life) and any apartments I don't care for I don't watch or pay much attention to.

I have noticed an emerging trend in the last week or so, and I want to raise it.
The Shoutbox seems to be becoming the Personal Attack Box,and it has to stop now !
It can not be healthy for any forum to descend into nastiness which is what is happening with certain members.
Bitchy comments made about members behind their backs in the Shoutbox.
Have we really sunk to this level?
I'm not going to name & shame because I don't want to get drawn into their petty squables,
but enough is enough!
Agree to Disagree, and if that doesn't work take it to PM and get it resolved there,don't drag the rest of the Shoutbox or the forum's members down with your issue!
If you can't be civil about it, either don't say anything,sit on your hands,take a break for a minute or log out & give it a rest for a while.
For god sake there are far more important things to get wound up about.
Watch the News sometime you will see what I mean!
 

RealLifeCanFan.com forum is a place to get to know others; for me it is very similar to the chat rooms of yesteryear on Yahoosie....

    The way I see it,   RealLifeCamFan.com is  in fact an extension of RealLifeCam.com. IF the managers follow our forum, it might explain our lengthy existence; some have ask that question about the content on the site and why it is.....
 
 I personally enjoy the conversations with people from all around the globe;  just makes the world a smaller, better place for me.
 
  It is true that our only real commonality is the apartments, the players and the awesome antics of the critters, but having this the forum makes us more family oriented. AND, It explains the often 'off' topic conversations that arise in the Shout Box.
  I would hope that if anything, (GOD FORBID), happens that RealLifeCam.com closes up shop, we will still hold our forum in great standings and continue for many years without them.....Much can be reveled upon in our memories.
 
  SO, with that being said, This forum, the members now and future members are probably more important to me than watching 3 girls sit on their asses, playing on phones, lappytops and eating oranges. NOT to mention those that pikkkie  their noses, pretend to masturbate, or wear the same fuckin clothes for a month.
